Cosiest, Sexiest Jumper Dresses

So its out with the summer and in with autumn!  I usually get a bit sad as soon as the days become shorter and it gets dark earlier. Although one thing I do love is autumn fashion, a variation of knitwear and… jumper dresses!

They are so versatile and comfy!  Jumper dresses are easy to style, wear, dress up or keep casual and they keep you warm when its chilly although still cool enough to wear on those mild days. With so many different styles, textures and variations, you would be hard pushed not to find a jumper dress (or few) suitable!  Here are just a few of my personal fave’s.

I love the combination of textures in this outfit. The nude pink chunky knit jumper dress with suede camel over the knee boots and tan bag looks muted, clean and chic.  You can’t go wrong with this classic look

Pop on a chunky knit and team with over the knee boots for those lazy lunch Sundays with the girls.

….Or step into a sophisticated pencil fit option and wear with nude heels for the office.

Simple and elegant

Warm, cosy, neutral and easy to wear

Casual and versatile

For a night out it’s easy to glam up, just slip into a fine knit and team with heels

Nothing spells sexy like suede taupe/grey over the knee boots and a jumper dress just long enough to just show a peek of thigh.

If you aren’t too keen on exposing your bare legs add a pair of leggings to the mix or opaque black tights.  Also add some shorts if the length of the jumper dress is a bit cheeky!

For those days when you just want to feel comfortable but don’t want to look like you haven’t bothered at all; a jumper dress is your best bet as it will work most of the time.  Just slip one over your head, add leggings if required, pop on some boots and bam – you’re ready!

Do you wear jumper dresses? What are your favourite colours and textures?… What footwear do you like to team your jumper dresses with? Let me know 🙂
